How to setup security perimeter for laptops with LAlarm laptop alarm

With the perimeter alarm, you can limit usage of your laptop to specific places. For example, an office, school, home, or a coffee shop. The perimeter alarm will go off when the laptop is used outside of the specified places. In other words, you can make your laptop sounds an alarm when your laptop is used outside designated places.

1. Define safe places. To define a place, enter the name of place, e.g. home, and its IP address in Zone tab in the Options. 
2. Enable Perimeter Alarm.

• The alarm may not be triggered immediately but when a user is trying to use the computer, the perimeter alarm will be triggered.
• Please read the LAlarm product manual before using LAlarm. The LAlarm manual is accessible by pressing the [Help] button in the LAlarm setup program.
• You can get an alert to your mobile phone via email or SMS when the perimeter alarm sets off. To get an alert, enable the email alert.
